Hi guys, I'm feeling the pain of this stupid waiting as most of you do, I'm wondering if any inland applicant with outland dependants have received the golden ticket and how it was the process, maybe some lucky applicant received it already. Also, if any PNP stream have received approval, because there are a bunch of CEC approved already. Thank you

Sorry dear, I wish I could help but I am an outland single applicant. I can't believe there are still inlanders who still don't have their CoPRs a year and a half later!!!!

Guys, what about those of us with CoPRs issued in September last year according to GCMS notes and will expire this September, but ofc those CoPRs were never handed to us in the first place due to travel restrictions. Is there a chance they could send us PPR before they expire? I am not too optimistic about that frankly since, as a government, I don't think they can give people less than three months to uproot and relocate. Does this mean they have to issue us new CoPRs or they can just extend the current ones. Is there a chance for September 2020 CoPR people to be issued PPR at all before their CoPRs expire?

@legalfalcon, could you please provide your take on this? Thank you so much!

1. not required

2. Yes, if you claim pined points for the job from which you changed. However, you only have to inform, there is no need for any documents.

3. You can, but not required.
4. You will get your GCMS notes in 30-35 days

5. See #13,190

6. IELTS only have to be valid as on the day you submit your application.
Thanks a lot for all the inputs. This is helpful!

If IRCC does not send a PPR, a new one will be issued with a further expiry date.

To do that your application will be reopened, and a new COPR will be generated with a longer validity given that all checks and documents are valid and not expired.

If your meds were extended, that is being done as a policy for all applicants who meet specific prerequisites.

Hi Everyone,
Wanted to check that with recent POF being updated . Does it apply to applicant already in process and waiting for more than a year now ?
Or its meant for the new applications to be submitted.
if anyone has any clarity on this please share
Regards

Has there been any encouraging news for the FSW-Outland applicants lately? Has anyone received their COPR since the travel exemption for approved outland applications on June 21st, 2021?

There's a FSW-O applicant in the Dec 2019 AOR thread who says they got PPR a few days ago.

@legalfalcon I had applied for PR via EE FSW from USA (AOR Jan 2020). Then moved to Canada in June 2020 to live with my spouse who is a PR holder. Updated file to add my PR spouse. Everything valid since Aug 2020 but no final decision/COPR. Address on file is Canadian one but COR in GCMS keeps saying USA.

Here are my questions:
  • When considering inland/outland for COPR do they look at address field or the COR field? Does COR gets locked in when app is filed, is it possible to get it changed to Canada?
  • Is there a way to apply for work permit without an LMIA (since employers are reluctant to apply for it) or a good place to look for jobs who apply for LMIA?
  • Would you recommend waiting for a few more months for COPR or should my spouse apply for spousal PR with work permit or is there any other option to obtain a work permit? At this point, I just want to get back to work.
