I sent the passport by myself to CPC-Ottawa.
So I guess there is no VAC?

Correct. Yours should be coming in 2 days

I seem to have the worst luck ever. I'm currently residing in Saudi Arabia and the diplomatic relationship of Canada and this country is downgrading big time. I hope this does not have any effect on my application as i am only residing here (unavoidable circumstances) and not a citizen of this country.

seems that things are moving finally!!....lets hope for the best!! By the way, yesterday I received an email from Mexico, where is the VO that process aplications for mi country, they say that my application is in queue for review and that I should rest assured that they will contact me for the next stage of the processing of my file.
