i remember that from CELPIP too; that they give you 2 copies to send one to CIC.
If the officer made a copy then that's fine.

It would be ironic though to send you the original with a note "we asked for a photocopy"

but hey! good news! you now know for sure that your application is being processed.
mine is IP, I sent the original as well but didn't get that message in ecas

hehe I would probably lose it

I am a future applicant who lives in a Border City Windsor. I commute to US every day since I work there. I have a house in Windsor and have completed close to 3 years in Windsor on PR. Will I be eligible to apply for Canadian Citizenship after 4 years. Does my working in US will make me not eligible. I come back to Windsor every day and have not stayed for more than 12 hours any day in USA and my I-94 would also show the same details. Please respond.

Your case is too different, I've never heard about it before. But I think you'll get your answer from your question by calculating your eligibility at CIC Citizenship Calculator. Keep in mind you needed a 1,460 days and atleast 183 days presently stayed in Canada each year in that four years to be eligible. Good luck to you soon...

Hi Creative85,

You can use your UCI number on your PR card or Application number which was the AOR that CIC sent you at your email and it starts with C000. Also about the Place of birth means from which country did you born.

Be patient. My application was received on Jan 3rd and haven't got AOR. Almost everybody on this forum that sent their application after me got the AOR.

Thanks for responding me back. I tried all id's with no luck ( the one in the email and my PR Card). Place of birth I was born in UAE but my nationality is different. its mean they didnt start my application so thats why doesnt show.
