yes, both IRCC agent and my representative advised to go and get upfront medicals before they ask for it to make it faster.

You meant, after your submitted medical get expired, you did another medical and submitted???
I did upfront medical in Nov. 2019, submitted with my AOR on April 18th 2020. So my submitted medical expired in Nov 2020. My question is, should I submit another medical? Any idea, please?

I did my upfront medical in Jan 2020, AOR Feb 19;
I talked to IRCC agent early Feb 2021 - he advised that medical is marked as expired - it may be extended or they may request new one. Also, he suggested to get new up-front medical so it would be quicker to process for IRCC.
so I got new medicals, uploaded in early Feb and now I have message on PR profile - medical approved.

Hi y'all. I know some people hate these and some people like them, but my PR application was JUST approved, so posting timeline here in case it helps anyone. Especially for Jan - April 2020 applicants, when IRCC seems like they are purposely ignoring us,

Application: CEC inland
ITA: March 23, 2020
AOR: April 27, 2020
Medical Passed: June 16, 2020
Biometrics Call: October 16, 2020
Biometrics Appointment: October 23, 2020
Eligibility: Passed (sometime in July 2020)
Security: Passed, March 24th 2021 (Ghost Update March 23rd)
Criminality: Passed, March 24th 2021 (Ghost Update March 23rd)
Final Decision: Approved, March 29th 2021 (COPR document number in online portal, have not received PDF yet)

If anyone has any questions about anything, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am wishing you all the best
Congratulation!!!

May be the timeline for a single applicant is considerably less than having a dependent on file. At least that is what the agent have told me on phone that it takes us time to process dependents.
Anyhow, happy for you! go get your passport now!

So I called IRCC again after couple of weeks.
CEC Inland with inland dependent
AOR - Feb 19
Biometrics - dependent Sep 25, myself Nov 18
Everything passed, pending final decision;
Medicals approved 28th March, received Ghost update later same day for Criminality as well (I presume, since it was the last thing pending).

Hey, would you mind elaborating on what you mean by ghost update? Is it some change you see on your online account or received an email about some update?

I've been told by MP's office that my criminality has been passed and waiting for the final decision now but didn't have any "updates" by neither email nor online account wise. So was curious what you mean by ghost update.

Ghost Update - when you get notification that there is an update on your IRCC account, but you connect and don't see any changes.
