I wanted to do my post graduation in canada. I have two options .. 1) go to canada as a student ..2)migrate to canada as a permanent resident and then apply for a course. Will there any advantaGe if i choose the second option like in financial terms..could any1 guide me abt the pro and cons... :o

I've been looking into this too. If you go into school as a PR, you don't have to pay international tuition or mess with the student visa process.

definitely become a PR first. Not only you pay much less as domestic student, a different deadline for application process and some programs (most likely professional and medical programs) don't accept international students.

Get your PR first and then continue with your masters. Either ways you need both.

Becoming a PR is ofcourse a better way but it is also probably the more time consuming and difficult method?
