Well... Start by learning Java or python on your own while you wait. CS degree don't teach programming and expect you to learn it on your own anyways
Thanks dude....I did do programming previously in my Master's degree. I did a funny research-based MASc in other engineering field. Just need a CS degree to get me coops and interviews...

Guys please start doing name shaming every day on Twitter and other social media platforms also share petition link. Post on IRCC and tag media, immigration minister, PM, local MP etc.
Please contact your MP’s and raise the issue with petition link. Not sure if it would be helpful but at least if our MP’s will get the same issue then it might get raised or get some attention at least.

it’s really sad and feel helpless to see how each one of us is struggling in our lives due to this delay. So sad to see how one fellow is not able to join college another one lost his dad the list goes on.
Please handle this situation together by using social media, petition and if you see anything already posted then please support and share
Thanks dude, it is not a college, it is University of British Columbia CS....
Enough is enough, we cannot let IRCC use Covid as the excuse. They at least need to find a better reason.

Totally a different level of frustration every day, every week. I'm going to lay off every single person working at IRCC if I'm the PM.

I have been seeing a lot of people with ONIP nominations getting COPR. Haven't seen any from other provinces, maybe they are only pushing applications from ON.

Folks I lost my father in India and I could not visit, my mom and sister are alone there. No update from IRCC till now dont know what to do
So sorry to hear that. My deepest condolences to you and your family. I hope you stay strong.

I'm just worrying:
I'm young and educated, having a decent job, so Canada needs me at that point.
But what if I get old and cannot be working, I'll become the burden of this country.
Will Canada still treat me fairly?
I'm highly doubting about that.

wow it must have been tough to get in, i went to sauder, and the CS major % to get in for internationals was like 88% ? or something, you've worked very hard for this, hopefully we're all get our status soon, and that's right IRCC owns us a duty of care, regardless of covid or not , they're inviting a ton of peeps with no man power whatsoever to clear the back log, it's quite irresponsible, imo

Thanks dude, but I cannot afford it as an international student.....IRCC is essentially changing my life plan.

I'm a public services employee right now, and I'm truly bored of my job. Though they offered me a good payment right now but I feel my life is meaningless.
