Hello,

I just have one question.. Do we need to do footprint for inland sponsorship (FRANCE)?
I'm lost on cic website ... Is it for some country or all country. ?

You need to get a police check from every country BUT Canada, where your have lived for at least 6 months since you became 18 years old. (If that was your question.)

eCas finally works again ,but this time only on my spouse infos. They replaced her old information with new . I guess i was panicking without reason...

One question guys. My wife got sponsored by her mother who is Canadian citizen 3 years ago as dependent kid ( she was 16) to become PR and she became one in 2013(still is). Can that affect our application somehow?
Or that sponsorship bar is only for people who were already sponsored to become PR by their spouses and they have that 5 year ban of sponsoring someone else when they get divorced? CiC website kinda confuses me..

Hi everyone!

I have a question
Do I need to extend my visitor visa if I've received an open work permit? Or will the work permit alone be enough for implied status until a decision is made? The open work permit is good for 2 years and the visitor visa expires this December.

The OWP gives you status as a worker, this is not implied status. You only need to apply for something when it expires.

total of 805, but my wife called cic call center and was told to pay a total of 1300, including the fee of RPRF (490 CAD), should we send the RPRF fee on my application as well? the cic agent didnt specify that , he just told my wife the total of fee we had to pay, thanks

You can pay the RPRF after you receive the decision made.

my Application was recieved on May 5th 2014 according to CIC.. im on a visitor visa and i keep getting it extended until i get my PR..
According to ecas my medical results have been received as well.. please add my info also..

I just wonder now if when i attach the work permit to the spousal sponsorship in-canada application is it enough tho that i attach the IMM 5710 form since all other needed documents are already included in the main application? Or is it better to have all these documents double 1. for the PR appl. AND 2. for the OWP appl. ?

And i obviously apply for an OWP so i dont need LMIA, letter of employment or anything like that, right?

Yes I know that we have to do a police check... But I read that some people had fingerprints to do... Is that true?

CIC will send a letter requesting finger prints if they are wanted. You only need to send police certificate with application.

I sent my application in July, but only after I sent it I noticed that I had an outdated (for 2 months) form. It was Generic Form IMM0008.. I've checked and there were no difference between an old and new updated form (but I guess that doesn't matter)... so does this mean that my application (most probably) will be returned to me?..

I just got my OWP , valid 15 months and it expires on same date like my passport.So ,Sophie if you can add me to that list 8)
I don't wanna be that guy who complains about everything but OWP looks kinda "cheap" compared to my last to WP that i got on border. It's printed on A4 paper .

I just have my medical check. What is eMedical enabled clinic. How do I know the medical center has already sent my medical report to CIC? where can I see that CIC received it? I am confused....

One more question, medical check includes:
Chest X ray
Blood check
Urine Check
and have interview with Doctor. (he completes a few questions of my assessment)

ARE THEY CORRECT?
I don't want to miss any of the required test..
