Did anyone applied for spousal owp extension?
My spousal owp is expiring next year in Feb and i'd like to apply for extension but those instructions on cic website are kinda confusing.
i know the address of CPC-V where i should send application but i've got no idea to which unit :mad:
Is it unit 202 or 777 ? lol ::)

App apr 2015 still waiting called CIC agent after 16 months passed, and the agent asked us to wait one more month then to call him again. We had no choice but to wait. Initial assesment seems to be 26 month instead of 16 months for CIC! We are very disappointed about CIC. :mad:. Facing the government bureaucracy, we are totally helpless and at the mercy of CIC. :'(

Same here. April 2015 applicant. Called CIC and we were informed that the Mississauga processing centre had missed the 16 months point and asked us to wait another month and then call back again.

Is it just me or does it seem like they've slowed down again? I am getting even more frustrated. It's an absolute joke.

AOR is acknowledgement of receipt - basically an email telling you that the application was received. In your case you've already had a police certificate request, so even if you didn't get AOR it's pretty clear that your application is in process.

In terms of why it's taking so long the answer is a little muddy. CIC are currently waiting the majority of applications as completed within 26 months and AIP (Approval In Principle) at 16 months. Based on a July 2015 application, you're still within the usual processing times right now even if more recent applications may seem to be processed sooner.

I submitted in the same month as you did. I feel very frustrated and disappointed too.

May 2015 app here. I know, how is that fair? CIC needs to stop telling people that they're processing in order because that's a freaking lie. It's not even funny how pissed off I am at this point.
