Submitted my fingerprints to the FBI 01/07/14!

the process is starting for real! So exciting!

is my UCI the same as the Client ID number on my student visa? Is this the number I will use throughout the whole process?

I don't know what's going on with AOR, but they seem pretty backlogged with new applications. Thought it was supposed to be 1-2 weeks?

Hopefully those waiting (like myself) will get it within the next few weeks..

You sent your application on NYE, which was only a week ago yesterday. It probably arrived at CPC-V already (depending on how you mailed it) but you're expecting too much to have AOR already! ;)

Most people say that it usually takes about a month. Relaxxxxxxx and enjoy the wait! :-\

I wish it was 2 weeks, its more like a few months isn't it?

We're still waiting for the AOR as well. Hopefully we will receive something next week in our emails. CIC is working in 2013 applicants and they moved so fast so lets just relax!! We will receive something soon!!

Some applicants state that they never received AOR, or received it at the same time as AIP...which is tragic. This waiting game is hard enough, without having to hope that you're one of the `lucky ones' that gets [AOR] what is supposed to be a standard part of this process.

Hey guys..

Excuse my ignorance, but could someone tell me what AOR, and other short forms you guys use here mean?

I guess AOR just means that they received your application...?

Hi everyone ...i am one of them ,those already get tired because of long waiting game and i can't wait any more now, after 5 months i am rushing to drop my inland application now.i am still waiting for my lawyer ( liar ha ha ha ) call for last confirmation..i wanna put up my out land application before fly back to singapore. Best of luck to all specially those just apply for inland application under spousal sponsorship.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FORUM MEMBERS
APP FILED ..JULY,24/13
APP Received ....AUG/02/13
AOR Received...AUG/22/13
IN PROCESS....AUG/30/13

Great to see someone else from Singapore. Anyway, yes, the waiting period has been tedious and dragging, but it appears t be speeding up a little now that CIC is back from the holidays. I originally wanted to apply outland through Singapore as well, but the time frame for Singapore is somewhere in the close to 30 months range. And such, I went inland instead.

So, if you could wait out a little bit longer, do wait. As the inland timeline is still shorter than outland application via Singapore.

Best of luck! :)

Hi, it is the same for me! From student visa to post grad work permit, to OWP now. The sponsor UCI can access both parties information on processing while the sponsored can only access the information for themself.

:)

Haha ya I'm not expecting it yet for myself, but I've seen some others here that haven't got it and probably should have.

Who says it should take a month? I was looking at the spreadsheets and it looks like typically 2 weeks? I could be wrong.

Yea this is a good example. I don't think anyone from December has received AOR.. if anyone has and sees this please post.

I find that odd..
