Can anyone tell me what AOR actually means? I got a letter saying that they received our application, another saying it's been transferred and online our status is 'application received'.

Have I gotten AOR? (I'm hoping it's that they have it!!!) If not, I'll be worried as I sent it away in December 2013. :S

Acknowlegment of received that's all. what u need to know is application received thats it, they process at aoo received date not AOR date , AOR just let u know they got ur file and open it and then nothing happen, u actually can apply outland and have babe here he can stay here. since he is hk applicant normally case usually finish be4 7months (1st and 2nd stage together)... u don't wanna think about it ? since right now inland really didn't have movement for 3 weeks ....

12 months now

Congrats to people on this date, but July applications was by far the longest processing time..........

Just saw that the processing time went to processing from July 30 - July 29th. All I could do was laugh and laugh and laugh. CIC are now processing so slowly that they are moving backwards! hahaha.... ??? Will they ever leave July?!

Hi folks! I've been reading this forum for a while now but since the great 'update' today I decided to register here. My application is filed on September 3rd 2013 and got my AOR on September 23rd. Wow, going backwards now, no words for that! I already sent a tweet on Twitter to CIC and the minister. Not sure how much people are on Twitter here but let's make a trending topic and get the attention !

I am looking at the recent timeline in Montreal and the number of days to get a landing date was 76 and 79 days.

I think that might be our timeline also ............. :-\
