Someone who landed on Feb. 07 received their PR card today, so you should be receiving yours soon.
Also, I found another thing today, try logging in on ECAS, do you see an extra box for PR card, it should say "We started processing your PR card application on ..." <<< I found this info. from a thread where people who applied under CEC are waiting for their PR card but it probably applies to every one. Also, this box only shows up roughly a week before you will get your card.

Oh thank you that was very helpful…

I will check that out...

for the statutory declaration of common law form, can we see a commissioner for oaths or do we need to see an actual notary public?

Guri I'm not sure where to find that about the PR CARD

This is what it says…

BTW all this info wasn't there until a few days ago and I landed Feb 12 so Ecas not so reliable SOMeTIMES
Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on March 5, 2013.

We started processing your application on January 9, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

You entered Canada at the Etobicoke office on February 12, 2014 and became a Permanent Resident.

They don't always update that status. Mine still says that same thing, well, I my dates and landing office are different, obviously, however, I have already received my PR card and I was never able to see any kind of status regarding it's issuance. My guess is it is much like the processing of the original application. It depends on who your officer is and how much they update the system to reflect the work being done.

How do you get them for free then? The page you linked talks about the $5 fee.

Yes. It will appear like Applicant 1 and Applicant 2. If I am not wrong, App. 1 is the sponsored 1 and App. 2 is the sponsor.

you meant when you receive the gcms note?

You can request as a sponsor or applicant. But you have to use this form http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5744E.pdf (scan and attach it to the request) so they will release info of both the sponsor and applicant.
