Hello everyone, I received a email from cic on aug 26th saying that ottawa office will contact me . I guess it's a DM for me ;D

How do they contact ? And what is atime frame for landing in ottawa ?

Congrats to all you 2012-ers receiving DMs and AIPs!! I am truly happy for you all!!!

But I can’t lie, I am also happy because every Approval rec’d means one step closer to my Application!! lol

But really…it is nice to see things moving over here again! The total lack of movement was really discouraging to see….

It sounds like a DM letter to me. Congrats. If it says something like "we are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completedm the CIC in "ottawa" will contact you concerning your permanent resident status". Then that is a DM letter.

The ottawa office will send a letter by snail mail. So far only one person according to timesheet, Parruda has landed 43 days after receiving DM. 3 others are still waiting for ottawa response.

Hello guys, just checking in!! Every time i see movement i like to think my
file is not that much further down the pile. Congratulations
to every one receiving AIP and DM. The movement
is giving some hope to this process!
I'm on 10 months one week n counting!
My husband is checking the website more
than I am. I've lost interest and can't be bothered to check.
Hopefully (not like there's much hope left either)
Before the end of the week ill hear super good
News from CIC!!

I am a bit disappointed tho as I was actually looking forward to seeing you and Jiggy posting about your AIPs and DMs like Quebecokie as it took Quebecokie 10 months and 1 week to get both. Well the week is not out as yet so here's to hoping for some good news.

Am not too sure Jolly abt the October 17th applicant , I know Quebecokie applied on the 23rd. Then its you and Jiggy then sunsun on the 30th then me on the 31st. Am last of the October applicants.

Yeah who's next in line for AIP !!!!**sigh** God knows how much I want to get this email because I am totally and insanely obsessed with checking my email every free time I get, and I HAVE a lot of FREE time so just imagine how often haha!! ;D

I think its better if applicant contacts , we did the same in our case and MPs assisstant was v cooperative.
