I called and the stupid agent told me no decision yet and I should call on August 17 to get the decision.............ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hey Everyone,
Congrats to Kieran and Lovely 20 on the great news – Just checked E-Cas no update for me, and I cant call at work unfortunately and sit on hold for 10 mins, Im trying to decide if I have the patience to wait for E-Cas update or should I call tomorrow morning. Hubby is home Thursday for 7 days so I think I want to wait for him to be with me so we can celebrate or commiserate together…….just don’t want to be disappointed if they tell me to call again after Wednesday or in two weeks like they have been – suggestions are welcomed!!

ardmac, keep calling when you can. Most likely you have at least first stage going by your application date.

Hey ardmac, I'm sure you will get something in the next couple of days if you decide not to call and just wait for an E-cas update. Whatever suits you, I just called them because I'm was starting to get stressed out again and it's not good for the baby. I mustered enough courage and the attitude that I just want it done and over with. I wish you well, and it will be great if you get the approval and Mona too this week!

Yup, can you believe that? How can somebody be so heartless, the agent is being an a**h**e! August 17 is a year of processing, I hope they take those phone calls seriously.

Congrats on everyone getting AIP. I am stoked that they are moving so quickly.

Sorry to give u bad news. I went into canada Post website and www.cupw.ca (trade unions website) and it seems that a strike will be very likely. they haven't reached an agreement yet and it seems that for now they will not reach it. Apparently only money and pension checks will be delivered. That sucks to say the least!!!! Let's hope it doesn't happen or if it does they will eventually reach an agreement soon
