IELTS IDP DECEMBER 3, 2016 Results

Hi Guys

I sat my IELTS here in Dubai last December 3, 2016. I have called my test centre this morning and she mentioned that my result has been withheld.

Anybody here experiencing the same?

Same with me. I have given in british council. What are possible reasons for this?
and is it positive or negative ?

No worries at all dudes..
Just chill..
They sometimes withhold some results just for evaluation of the exam system about its smooth and fair operations..
By this means they check whether any improvements are needed or not.

My wife had the same case as yours. She received her result 15 days later, but all good.

So it happens with some.

Don't panic and just wait for your results..

It happened to people who gave exam 3 days before me. And when i filed my rechecking the guy told me it was withheld because they had info that paper had been leaked. And a guy i know actually came to me for a writing tips in morning of exam on a topic which he actually got that day. When they find major discrepancies in writing and speaking results of lot of people they hold the result for re verification for few days. No big issue

when did you write exam? and did you called british council?

I took the exam on December 3rd,2016. I contacted IDP, they replied that my results are in investigation.

Yeah. I received the same, they have emailed me saying that my results are under investigation. Really hoping that we get our results soon, can't created an EE acct without it, and 2017 is already approaching.

Got the results today. I'm kinda shock of the results, very unexpected. Like I thought I did good in reading and writing, but guess not Anyway, my scores are:

Listening 7.5
Reading 6.5
Writing 6.0
Speaking 7.0

Overall 7.0
