Sent it in on November 17, so it is two months on Tuesday, and still no word. Sent an email inquiry but didn't get a reply either.

It's only one month my dear :)

They are not answering emails that much but yesterday they responded to my email. They said that my passport is in queue to be mailed out the next few days
I know this wait is killing us but we have no other choice but to wait,eh?

Agree, that's just one month. I sent ours on November 4th and they received it November 5th. Hopefully we'll receive it by tomorrow or Monday at the latest. It was activated at 5pm last night.

Dont worry, it took me more than 80 days to get it back (I even cancelled my air ticket coz of that :(), and they replied my email after one month, I know it's frustrating to wait, but finally you will receive it :)

I realized my mail isn't moving at all. It just says "Accepted" when normally when I track mail it's "In Transit". It has been "Accepted" since December 11 5pm. My envelope is Xpresspost which should take a maximum of 2 days delivery. Any idea why it's not yet moving?!

You should be having it by next Monday for sure, if you are in canada.
All the best!

Hi Guys! How did you send your passport? I understand that it's thru Xpresspost envelopes from canada post, but to which address because there are two addresses there and i'm confused. Also did you print out the email sent to you and include it in the envelope?

I am in Canada. Usually if it's on its way, it's "accepted" and then changes to "in transit" the next day. Don't know why it's still stuck at "accepted" until now. My friends say it might be that CanadaPost is dealing with a lot of holiday cards and parcels and are just a little bit behind.

If you're sending it through CanadaPost, you should send it to the PO Box address. If you're sending it by courier, use the other address. It is stated clearly on the letter.

It is stated in the letter as well that you should include a copy of that email/letter with your passport :)

completed 3 weeks of waiting. checking the tracker everyday. no luck yet :(

Yes, it is that delay. Some people had to wait 8 weeks. Mine passed 3 weeks already. Going to finish the 4th.... :'( I also need my passport back urgent but not much we can do now :'(

Thanks ScarletSally! But i messed up! I sent it to the courier address because the lady at Canada Post said that the Xpresspost envelopes are considered as "courier" so I believed her :( I don't know if I made a big mistake in believing her..

Hopefully, my passport will arrive ottawa on time and not be delayed :(

u should consider postponing your travel, just to be on the safe side. on the forum i have seen some getting their passport within 3 weeks, and some in 8 weeks.
