How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Well the standard size envelope fits the passport and some folded regular-size papers. Do they send more documents such that they need a whole letter-size envelope?

After a month waiting, my tracker got activated on Sep 27th at 17:58!!!!!!!!

Hi All,

I completed my Flagpole in North Portle,SK on September29.
The officer handling my procedure asked for Identification Documents even from the persons accompanying me.
Now waiting for PR Card for which current WAIT Period is 70calender days.

Hi

What kind of visa is given when we send our passport to CPP-O? Are they different then visitor's visa?
Do we need to send our passport to CPP-O if we already have visitor's visa?

I have applied for FSW2013 and I already have valid visitor's visa till March 2015.

My research tells me that I will get passport request as soon as I submit my FBI clearance certificate.
Medical (normal as i got duplicate copy from doctor) and other documents are already submitted.

As far as I know they cancel your current visa ( mine is valid till Dec 2014) and issue a new short term one so you can enter as a permanent resident.

The Canada Post tracking information indicates that our passports have been received by your office on Wednesday September 11.

I was wondering if you could expedite the Visa stamp process and related official paper works.

At ~10 PM EST I got the following email as a reply:

Good day Sir,

A letter regarding the decision made on your application will be sent to the following address:

Should this address need updating, please inform us to ensure a proper delivery.

We appreciate your patience.

This is ridiculous, ??? 5th week by tomorrow and no activation yet? Anyway the wait continues.

Mine is freaking damn 6 weeks and still no updates... I have work related travel plans... not even bother responding to my emails... They should not legally be able to hold my passport for that long.
