How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

CPP-O receive my passport on Feb 28, and I still waiting. Could everybody updates me what's going on? Thank you so much!

Congrats to you buddy (I think he sent his passport probably earlier than even MSB_Boparai, I wonder if how long they hold our passports depends on our nationalities?)? Can you ask him what time his tracker was activated? And under what stream did you and your buddy apply?

Judging by the timelines gathered on this thread, it looks like to me that they won't hold your passport for longer than three months (unless something screwed up happened, I think someone mentioned that Ottawa got his passport for like 8 months before returning it to him), maybe that's the legal limit?

I sent PPs for myself and my husband on April 29, 2013, the CPP-O received those on May 1, 2013. And my tracker got activated last night (May 10th) around 8pm..... It takes exactly 10 days for us...

Congratulations!!!! That was super fast. So on the same day, they processed passports they received on Feb 18 and May 1!!! I don't understand how these people work sometimes :

10th week here. This is getting crazy. Do you guys think local canadian embassy can help? CPP is not responding to emails and there is no phone number to call - There is no way to know what is happening with my passport.

Has anyone tried calling local canadian embassy to see whats going on with our passports at CPPO?

Hi people from February and March. I have a question for you if anybody thinks it is a good idea to send them link to our spread sheet list so they can see that there is a reason for us to be worried about our PPs stuck in their office for 2-3 months and there is no backlog because they are working on cases from the end of April. Please respond what do you think. Thanks.

I already send them the link with our list last Thursday May 9, and asked them why they are not delivering the ones from mid February to mid March, and if they have my passport or have lost it.
They have not answered me so far.

Finally I become a landed Immigrant

Gone to Niagara Falls Rainbow bridge at this Saturday, it was quite a chilly weather out there but I was excited to become a PR, been to US border, officer checked my documents and given me refusal letter without prejudice came back to Canada waited in line for about 25min, upon my turn CBSA officer ask my passport and Confirmation of PR (CPR) and told me to have a seat, I waited for 5min, he called me to sign on my Confirmation of PR and asked me if I got any dependent today who are doing landing today, I'm like no, given back my passport with CPR stated my home address of Canada and greet me by saying, from today you're treated as Permanent Resident, Wohooo

Now will go to Service Canada to renew my SIN card.

Today i entered 10th weeks since i have submitted my passport to CPP-O.God knows how long more it is gonna take :'(
