Seems more people are getting into this ''Priority List'', but no one is getting out of it ;)

According to canada post Cpp-o got my passport on 8th April. When I enquired this is what they have to say
Did anyone get this message.

Sir/Madam,

We are still awaiting the passport. The notes on your file do not currently state that the passport has been received.
Though this might mean that you mail is still on its way, it can also mean that your passport has arrived to our office but has not yet been opened, due to high volume of correspondence received.

Hope this answers your question.

Why to wait for a month ..lets wait one more week and then shoot an email to immigration minister

my boss had a friend who worked as imm officer
he said from month of feb till june passport flow is the most so it does take alot of time. when it comes to diff provinces

BC and toronto has the most applicants through out the canada so it takes extra time for them
plus every PnP case is divided into further categories.... PnP 1, 2 and 3.... so further more distribution among the line...
so he said wait for another month and than shot email. if you do it now it wont effect

do it when flow is slow and than they will answer too

i guess there are some applicants who sent files to Bufflo. After the office closed, and it was reopened in Ottawa. so those applicants must be priority. this case, timeline was about feb 2012 until today.
Anyone knows about the border services, which is 24/7? Can people go for PR confirmation on SAT or SUN? Thanks!

Just to make sure, did CIC asked you some document or finger print or anything you might think of, before sending passport request. That might be a delaying thing? In my case CIC asked for finger prints before asking for passports. I replied to them I never been to Canada and I am in USA, why I need RCMP finger printing and police report. After that email, I got passport request.
It is 7 weeks now I haven't got my passports back, I am guessing that may be the reason of delay in sending passports back. Any one whose passports are delayed going through similar situation?
