I have photos 4 x 6 , photos taken with familiy members , friend's etc ..so do I just write on the back of the photos , who is who , the time/date of the photos , description of the ceremony/event etc ?

How exactly do I label and provide description for the various photos ? ..on the back of the photo itself or on a piece of separate paper ?

You could put a label on the back of each picture and write the date the picture was taken, persons in the picture, and a small description. You should try to make it as easy as possible for the person going through them. Using a separate piece of paper makes it confusing. If I was on reviewing side, I would get frustrated.

Thank you so much for your tips in organizing the app forms @ pelipeli. The advantages of being OC surely does the trick when organizing these kinds of paperwork ;D May God bless you more!

I stapled EVERYTHING. It does not matter. We have been in Canada for over 6 months. =)

Also - everything was in one large pile in exact order of the checklist. Don't over complicate things! And don't leave everything loose - that would be a nightmare to figure out. Paperclip or staple.

I'd like to add that I did not use a single paper clip or staple. Nor did I separate things into 3 folders, table of contents, etc etc. Everything was just stacked in accordance to the document checklist. This method was advised by my cousin, who is an IO in Vegreville. And my uncle, who is an IO in Los Angeles. I also received a letter by email from the IO handling my file thanking me for the ease of the layout. (It was included on my PP Request).

No need for over complicating things. Oh, I also glued my pictures (70 of them) to regular computer paper and wrote descriptions beside each. Which is perfectly fine.

4. Immigrant photos – do not attach on forms, put in small envelope and paperclip to the forms
- It is unclear whether to label 1 photo only among the 9, or label all the nine, so what I did is to provde two sets, one set with only one labeled photo fo the 9, and second set with all 9 photos labeled at the back. I provided an explanation for this, and told them to feel free to discard whchever set will not be used.

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO LABEL ON THE IMMIGRATION PHOTO ?

It depends on which VO you are in.
Like in the Philippines, we needed to sign every photo and write our name and date of birth.
