I mentioned before if there is no history with the PA then the background check goes fast.
The HK consulate was efficient.

Whats your opinion why they sent mine to HK and not mainland office? When ppr comes will I just submit to closest office in China, do they tell me where to submit?

Previously the Beijing office was closed and all sponsorship applicants were being processed in HK.
So it may depend on when your application was submitted? The PPR will have instructions and extra
courier fees for the mainland office of your choice.
