For the parents/grandparents program, does IRCC ask for police certificate based on the "country or territory where you lived for 6 months or more since the age of 18" or do they review based on last 10 years residential address? I couldn't find any specifics for the "police ceriticates" so I guess it's discretionary and case by case?
My parents hold passport from another country, but in the last 10 years they barely went there (longest stay is 1 day per visit). I am wondering if IRCC office will require police certificate from that country as well? Would really apprecitate individuals with a similar background could share insights and experience. Thanks!
