Only 2020 applicant whose file not processed (or in system ) in that year falls under this policy. Means they were nt issued temporary file number and aor in 2020 will fall under this policy.

As per the public policy, it applies to those applications that has not been reviewed and processed in the same year(2020). Can you share your exact timeline?

Application received by Ircc on January 2020… biometrics and aor came on march 2020…biometric submitted April 2020 along with medical… no update after that

I think your application will still be processed under the caregiver pilot and not under the temporary policy posted on May 3, 2021.
