Help Regarding changing spouse name on COPR

Hi,
Just wanted to know that is there any way to change non accompanying spouse name after landing of the principal applicant in Canada.
My spouse name does not have a surname in it..as her complete name is mentioned as her given name in her passport..By making adequate correction in her passport and then go for making changes in her COPR...Will that work or not.
Please guide

Is the name listed on the CoPR differently than it is on the passport?
