following is the email received from Havana and my Husband is 54 never has been sick.

Medical examination for your spouse has expired July this year. Extension was requested to health office in Canada, but not granted, so applicant will have to repeat medicals depending on interview results, that is, if case is approved we will give him forms and instructions for new medicals.

When I ever I go visit my husband they are starting to hate that I go so much as I go every 3 weeks until he is mine in Canada but is there a limitation or a rule with how many times I am allowed to visit my husband or is it whenever now because I am married to Cuban? ??

So I emailed Havana over 3 weeks ago (I was at 9.5 since file was in Havana at that point, it's 10 months right now..) and still no reply....

I emailed at 10 months, Had my MP call and my Senator as well got a generic email response. It was 11 months before we got an email for the interview date which is Jan 4 .2016 which will be 2 days less than 1 yr in Havana. We applied July 11,2014. So total 1 yr 6 months. Now we need a new Police certificate and a new medical.

THERE IS NOT RULE HOWEVER - WE ALL KNOW THEY CAN BE AS NICE OR AS RUDE AS THEY WANT.

MAKE SURE YOUR NOT TRAVELLING WITH ALOT OF "GIFTS" DONT GIVE THEM REASON TO PULL YOU OVER AND CHECK YOUR LUGGAGE., FRIENDS OF MINE JUST LAST WEEK GOT PULLED OVER... HAD TO PAY 150 CUC FOR SOME GIFTS THEY WERE BRINGING THEIR FRIENDS...

ITS THE END OF THE YEAR NOW, SO ANYONE TRAVELLING NEEDS TO BE CAUTIOUS.. THIGS WENT MISSING, THINGS GOT STOLEN! BUT THERE IS NO RULE, AS LONG AS UR NOT GOING HERE FOR BUSINESS WHAT CAN THEY SAY?

Does anyone have any information on conditional permanent residency being any quicker? Also how did they determine Who needs to go in for an interview and who doesn't what are the things that they are looking for?

If the person reviewing your application in Cuba sees red flags regarding your relationship they can ask for an interview IE age difference . length of relationship etc

Well I'm 31 and she is 21, I submitted November 7th to be approved as a sponsor can someone tell me what to expect after that they are already working on applications from October should I should hear back in a 2 weeks or so. . I met her in April and married in July but I basically lived with her in Cuba for 6 months I barely returned to Canada this year. We also went to Ecuador for our honey money. But she was denied for her visitor visa one before marriage in June and one after marriage in October.
