well,

okay but I had applied for arts program in usa, visited it for 3 months and came back and after working for an year applied for a computer science stream in canada.

do u think this was why visa was canceled

I mentioned this in the SOP
I'm not sure I understand.

The U.S. and Canada do share immigration information. So if you went to the U.S. on a study permit and then didn't end up studying, this could certainly impact your Canadian study permit.

Not necessarily. US immigration systems may simply show that you came on a study permit but failed to study.

Anyway - pointless discussion. You need to wait until you receive your GCMS notes and can see why your visa was canceled.

He appears to be wanting to study while his PR is processed, based on a cursory look at the OP's recent post history.

should I be worried

My documents are in tact and I just cannot understand why it was canceled and that too after a month
We have seen IRCC cancelling visas at the last minute, mostly in cases where they believe the applicant had committed misrepresentation.

There's probably more to this than what you've posted.

1. It's quite unusual to get a visa approval in just two days especially for a study permit.

2. It's also quite unusual that IRCC ran background checks on your application.... and those checks were completed in just two days

the companies are well established and quite reputed esp Amazon and Genpact

also in CIC account, it states background check completed

Nope, 2 days all it took for it show "approved"

Mine wasn't "rejected" last minute

it was approved for a whole month and then canceled

and if the background wasn't completed why was the student visa issued

Regardless of the companies where you worked, a study permit approval in two days is unusual.

Again, it is unusual for background checks to be completed in just two days... and more importantly, background checks are not usually done on India applications.

There is something else in your application and/or your application history with IRCC that resulted in the cancellation of your visa.

It was cancelled long back. It is just that your agent didn't bother to tell you

IRCC is well within their rights to cancel any visa issued one day/ one month/ one year later.... if they believe they should not have issued the visa
