Got my BOWP approved without submitting AOR

u don't need to attach it. u only need to quote it

i have applied based on my spouse. she is on a open work permit and me on study permit...

both our permits are expiring on 30th aug and we have applied for BOWP through paper... fingers crossed....

yea, thru explanation letter, ur good. did u attach aor letter??

me and my wife submitted our BOWP application together... along with our sons birth certificate and passport copy since he was born here.

we attached basically 2 letters... from my side and another from hers.

no i didnt attach my aor as i didnt receive it, but explained it in the letter that will receive it in 20 days or so....

Hello folks,

I am running into a difficult situation, I have my current closed wp valid till 31st Oct and my employer is no more extending it as the work with client will not be extended beyond 31st Oct. I applied for CEC PR and it reached Sydney on August 23, I have to apply for BOWP as soon as I receive AOR, but by the time I receive AOR in October(based on the current timelines) I will not be left with much time to apply BOWP. I can apply BOWP but I will not receive it before 31st Oct. If that is the case, can I still continue to stay in Canada without any immigration issues. I do not really want to run into any such issues and jeopardize my CEC application. Is there any way to ask CIO Sydney to expedite the application verification and AOR. Please advise.

I am not sure they will grant u bowp without aor but just pray and keep ur fingers crossed. I have seen someone in this forum being denied bowp due to lack of aor letter. you might be lucky if u applied thru paper application because it takes longer and ur aor might arrive b4 they process it

No update yet - I applied by mail to buy myself some additional time in case things don't go as planned. I'm expecting to get my decision sometime in early September.

Got my bridging open work permit in the mail today! Valid until the expiry of my passport in May. :-*

I applied by mail, without AOR, but with an explanation letter, proof of my mailing of my CEC application, and a copy of my CEC application.

The package was received in Vegreville on July 2.
My work permit (IEC) expired on July 8.
I received AOR July 14.
I received my work permit September 3 (dated August 26). It is valid until the expiry of my passport.

Did you include photographs? It's unclear whether a postal application requires photographs to be included.
