Getting married after PPR

Hi,

What is the procedure if both have COPRs as single?

Our marriage is in June 2018 (no scope for date change )

Medical validity is 14th oct 2018

Please please help here. Will the current copr be invalid?

Hi folks,
I got married after my ppr and informed through webform. They reply to me in 13 days, and asking for the following documents.

To continue the processing your application, submit the following items within thirty (30) days of this letter:


· Updated application form(s) for you including your spouse’s information:


Ø Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)

Ø Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)

Ø Sponsor Questionnaire (IMM5540)

· Forms completed by your spouse:

Ø Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)

Ø Schedule A (IMM5669)

Ø Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire (IMM5490)

· One photograph of your spouse. The photograph must comply with the Photo Specifications.

· Notarized copy of your spouse’s original hospital birth certificate. For persons born in the People’s Republic of China: You must submit a notarized copy of the original hospital birth certificate issued by the PRC Ministry of Health.

· Copy of your spouse’s Hukou (household register), if applicable.

· Notarized copy of your marriage certificate

· Photocopies of the biodata pages of your spouse’s passport(s) or travel document(s) with at least six (6) months before expiration.

· Processing fee for your spouse. To pay your fees online, click here: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do

· Original Police certificates from every country where your spouse has lived for a period of six (6) months or more since turning eighteen (18) years of age.

Send an email to Ottawa VO and/or your local VO.
They will may allow both of you to land as single even though married.

Honestly, due to financial and job reasons, can't do a soft landing and come back to get married

Should i ask ottawa VO (our application was processed here)?

Send an email to them and explain that you both have COPRs and are planning to get married before landing.

hi friends please help :

I am getting married post PPR and am going to add my wife to my application before I will make the landing in Canada. So my question is, do I need to obtain PCC for myself again as well? as my earlier PCC was in May i.e. more than 6 months back or I only need PCC documents for my wife?

Your PCC may not needed or at least initially.

I assume there would be economic class (and then fsw/cec) option.
You have to choose that one.

Best is go as single applicants and then get married in Canada Itself no need to come back... stay in live-in by that time

I am in same boat... i got PPR on 16th Nov and i got married on 29th Nov.... raised a CES, waiting for reply... i have sent the passport on 8th Nov as i didn't heard any thing... but i have given a letter with my passport saying that i have got married and gave print outs of Marriage certificate and updated POF...

i have raised 3 CSE in total
1) 17th Nov saying that ill be getting married
2) 29th Nov saying that i m married
3) 7th Dec saying that i have sent the Passport as i didn't get any reply and my 30 days from PPR mail were about to get over

I already have Spouses POF in her bank account and some in my account
I already have PCC from UK for her and India PCC too
what should I do, do i need to be prepared with any other docs?
