Getting divorced after landing as PR As Dependant spouse

Hi I am 26 years old girl . who marry PR person of canada . due to mental harrasement by him. she want a divorce. As she already landed . I s she get divorce and her PR will continue or not
 
PR status is at an individual level once landed so not affected by divorce.
 
However, if you haven’t landed yet, he can cancel his sponsorship for your PR before you land. If you are getting divorced and you still land, you are committing misrepresentation as your relationship has broken down and you are no longer eligible. If you have recently landed, he could report you for marriage of convienience as well.

I do not think so. Only if it would be a fast marriage just before the landing and then fast divorce after it. But even then there is nothing they can do. Since in case of dependants, they do not investigate if the relationship is genuine or not (unlike by sponsorship).
 
But I have proof that he is phycho person. and stay with him is not possible and I have proofs that before he getting PR We already engage. So I have no Problem if investigation done. because I am genuine . After that may I get problem ? As I could not get back to india because of my family will get social problems. As Divorced girl with parents in india is public see like a crime. Please give me suggestion what to do in this matter.

In which city/province are you given expect there are organisations that can help where there is abuse in a relationship if that is what you are implying.
 
why did you marry him in the first place? thats why i am against arranged marriages consult a lawyer and get your divorce finalized Y0u might get into trouble for misrepresentation or just go back to india.

What is my mistake in all this ?? I got only 2 hours with him to decide Yes or No and his family reputation is good.Hence, I took as my destiny and said yes. After that it is not possible for me to go against it and have faith that all will get alright by time and spending time with each other . but it gong to be worsen .When we go on honeymoon his psycho personality give me shocked and fear. I am not at all money oriented I never ever take a rupee from him even though I am unwell my lime juice cost paid by me.when I engaged he was not PR So, He can't say that I marry him to reach there. I marry for me and my parents's happiness. The most shocked thing that they are not giving me 1 paisa in marriage rituals or anything not even mangalsutra. they said at the time of marriage as they have not that type of ritual even though they are also belong to jain family.Moreover,the amount of money which he have to sent me to for immigration process . it also taken by his father. I am independent girl So I can earn my money but he never ever understand that my father is retired person and I am the only earning person in my family even though he wants that I pay for WES money and when I said him No. He said abusive words and complain to my father.

You are being overly harsh to the OP here. In some cultures, what she did regarding the arranged marriage is totally standard. It is why CIC has different rules for evaluating the relationship depending on the region.

Get a divorce and just stay inside Canada, you have already Landed right? You will still have your PR.
 
I have one doubt at the time of immigration process he submit wrong story. I asked him about it .At that time he said the officers not believed that we were marry after 2 meetings . So, I agree upon it, for easy immigration process . Is that matter can be hurdle in my case?
 
Divorce, and regain your freedom in Canada, a country where women are respected as individuals.
Your PR status is safe and is not directly affected by divorce. Make sure you use a good divorce lawyer.
