How to get rid of confusion in putting dates like 11th July or 11 July.....words such meal or meals

For dates- you can write without ‘th’ or ‘rd’, in short, just write in simple format.
For other words, singular and plural does matter, it has to be accurate as said in audio CD.

Singular and plural do matter and you must use according to what is said in the script, although you could get away with singular in some cases (due to may be sentence structure).

As for dates, I do not think it really matters if you add 'th' or not. I do not normally add it.
