I'm in the same situation (CEC in-land). My file was approved on Oct 10, 2021 according to GCMS notes. No COPR so far (it is in the queue PQ-9515-COPR, but "not started").
You mean Oct 10, 2020 surely?

Hey there,

I'm in Canada, received a status update on my CIC portal that my application for PR is approved. It shows copr document number both for myself & my wife. But I don't see any document attached on the secure message section neither I received email checked my junk folder too. I'm not sure how long will it take to receive my COPR. Would appreciate if someone could give me a rough estimate on the timeline to get my PR card & please advise what should I do in terms of next step to get my PR card. I have some travel plans for this year so kind of stuck with ongoing process.

Thanks in advance
Regards
Prakash
Hi... Did you get the actual COPR document?

In my gcms notes, it shows copr number but cancelled. Is it because I applied for trv and got approved. thanks!

Hello guys,

Finally good news to share. Received COPR on Feb 09 after waiting for more than 3 months after DM.

Following is my timeline:

AR: Sept 25, 2019
AOR: Dec 16,2020
biometrics submitted dependent: Feb 12, 2020
ADR (background form for dependent): Feb 5, 2020
medical request for me: Feb 5,2020
ADR submitted: Feb 14, 2020
Medical done: Feb 21, 2020
Medical Passed: Feb 26, 2020
Medical extended for spouse: Sept 16, 2020
1st GU: Oct 16, 2020
2nd GU: Oct 19,2020
DM on ECAS: Oct 20, 2020
COPR: Feb 09, 2021

I received gcms notes on Jan 21 and found that COPR number was in the system but the status was not started. The expiry of COPR is feb 25, 2021 so I called agent and he forwarded the message to the local office. After 5 days I got call from No caller id and confirmed that we are in canada and received COPR.

COPR expiry date is generally your medical expiry date so it is sure that you will receive COPR before your medical expiry date. It is just matter of time and if you are nearby just as mine call agents so they can followup.

Thank you for your support.

Woah, that’s a long wait. 9515, if I’m not mistaken is Ottawa CPC. Most apps are stuck there but your application is the longest wait I’ve seen for a CEC-inland. If the IRCC agent and webforms are note helping, try emailing Ottawa CPC (I don’t know the email address) or try raising a technical glitch error via your IRCC account.

Thanks for the ideas. I just sent an email to CPC Ottawa again.

I have also tried to raise this issue with my MP and even went on the news in February https://globalnews.ca/video/7660897/permanent-resident-applicants-still-waiting-for-approvals but they didn't help.

Unfortunately, there’s not much we can do. If only IRCC can sort and filter those who were applied in the 1st half of 2020 or even earlier and prioritize those and get it out of the door. But unfortunately, their archaic system (GCMS) apparently doesn’t have that functionality.
