I live next to the Canadian Embassy in Caracas. To submit docs you can either A) Send them through courier or B) In person. I submitted them in person on Aug 18 (Wednesday), the official looked at my package checked the forms and the fees, turned around and gave me a bunch of stickers and a letter saying we got your package (That's the 2nd AOR). On Aug 24 ECAS Showed from CIO Review complete to 'In Process'

That is awesome bro, best of luck , I thought they only take application via mail. IN PROCESS means they can take action and process it further anytime without any delays.

I guess it depends on VO. According to the processing times website, Caracas office is the fastest in the world. So I'm going to cross fingers!

Since I'm single and submitting application on my own with all of the documents including english translations (they accepted just spanish, but started requiring english translations since they brought in more officers from Canada to speed up the process).

That VO works hard and fast as far as I know, there's some other venezuelans who I know who applied november 2009 to CIO, 1st aor in January submitted docs february, medicals on april and got their visa stamped on june and landed two weeks ago
