I feel like IRCC is processing 2021 applications at blazing speed because they no longer have Covid as excuse; for older applications they probably (wrongfully) think the excuse is still applicable. If this is true then they really proving how incompetent they are

Referring to the way they are processing CEC applications this year. Many 2020 CEC applications are still in queue but they chose to process the 2021 ones at full capacity
