Hello,
I am new to this thread. Presently i am working in Canada on work permit with position LMO for it. Now i wanted to apply for FSW in next month with my CELPIP score. Can anyone please let me know if i need to get notary on my educational & work experience documents which i will submitting with my application? When i submitted those in India for my work permit i didn't go that but i am not sure if that is required if i submitting my application inside canada.
Thanks,
Gaurav

Hi All

I have asked this in this forum before but did not get any reply

You can see my details in the profile:

I have valid WP till March, 2014.

Two things:
1) I got married in Nov 2012 and I updated CPP-Ottawa about my status change. "Single" to "Married". I received a reply to send them the Marriage Certificate which I did and after that no reply till date. I have received an email to add my spouse to the application.

I am going to send the file to CPP-OTTAWA next week. Since FSW2 applications take maximum one year, but in my case, how much I can anticipate as I have added my wife in the middle of the process. I applied in May 2012.

2) On the other hand, my wife had applied Open Work Permit (as my spouse). The visitor visas were being rejected for spouses, hence, I went for this option as I am also on Work Permit.
Chandigarh consulate rejected (replied within a month) and stated Travel as the reason for rejection. They might have thought she will not come back to India.

I consulted an immigration consultant here in Toronto, and prepared her file again for WP application and she applied last week in Chandigarh, India. In this application we have shown the social and economic ties to India in detail.

What are the chances now?

Will adding my wife to the PR application affect the WP application? The lawyer said NO; I just want to consult with you guys

Appreciate the response.
Thank you.

The Process in a Nutshell
Stage-1: [CIO stage] Send Initial Apps+Processing Fees to CIO-NS > Eligibility Check > Issue of AOR+120 days Letter >
Stage-2: [CHC stage onwards] Send Full Docs+RPRF to the Local Visa Office > File on Queue > e-Cas: "Received by Visa Office" > Qualitative Check+PSDEC > Issue of 2nd AOR > Background Check > Issue of Additional docs Request [if any] > 1st BF'D > e-Cas: "In Process" > Send Addnl. Docs > Issue of Med Request > 2nd BF'D >
Stage-3: Meds Sent > e-Cas: "Medical Results Recd." > Issue of PPR** > Send Passport/s > Security Check > Visa/s Stamped > e-Cas: "Decision Made" >
Stage-4: Return of 'Stamped' Passport/s+COPR > Landing at the POE > e-Cas: "Completed".

Hi qorax, how much of these stages are still true for MI-2 applications onwards? As we all know, applicants are now required to submit all the documents to the CIO, who will then transfer their applications to visa offices after they passed initial eligibility verification (1st AOR from Sydney, or positive eligibility determination). How would any of these processes change with respect to the new process for FSW (since MI-2)? In particular, I was wondering if getting a document request from VO (in my case, CPP -Ottawa) for POF and PCC would imply that I have passed eligibility and selection factor? Thank you very much for your help, and it is a great work you've been doing to our community :)

Hi qorax,

Kindly reply my query..!!

I got married in Nov.2012 , updated my spouse's file on 24 Jan 13 and got my MR on 15 Feb 2013 so they issued me MR on my single status as they have not opened my spouse's file till then as we gone to delhi on 21/02/13 in person then officer told us that your packet is not opened yet.

After 2-3 days approx on 25 feb I asked from bank about spouse's DD of 29150 RS ..its status is PAID.
So ,presume that they have opened the file of spouse..!!

As, I got MR on 15 Feb and last 45th day is 31st March ..though I waited for our 2nd MR till 20th March and then I sent my PP which is reached NDVO today..22/03/13..!!
So..don't know what is the visa stamping procedure for family cases...as my PP has gone to NDVO and my spouse's MR yet to come..!!
Kindly ans. whether we both get PP back at same time or I will get it first then my spouse ..??
waiting for your reply..!
Thanks

Hey Qorax or any other Experienced member

CIC says the processing time of FSW applications for Ottawa is 15 months. For Arranged Employment cases (FSW2), it should not be more than a year.

I filed my application a year ago (May 2012) in FSW2 category (job offer with +ve LMO) and it is almost a year that I have not received any medical request. It may be due to I got Single to married during the application processing stage and recently added my spouse to the application (in March 2013).

How much delay that I can expect? Will I get the PR by end of the year?

Today i got Gcms Report
i am very much Upset , cause

Assessment
Eligibility : Not started
Security: Not started
Criminality : Not started
Medical : Not started

Sir Qorax,I am 2010 applicant under FSW,our remedical will expired this coming August 13, 2013.Yesterday our ECAS update Medical have been Received.Just this month we transfer 80% of our POF to another bank but still we have 10% to pur old bank that we used when we submitt our application,Do you think embassy will still ask for updated bank certificate,If yes, is there a problem if we transfer our account?Thank you so much..
