Hi Gurus!

Just got my GCMS notes and "Huston we have a problem!!!" Please see the notes quoted below: -

"Based on documents provided, I am satisfied that the points granted on the selection grid adequately represent
the applicant's ability to economically establish in Canada as per the selection criteria in R76(1 )(a). Financial
documentation provided satisfies me that applicant meets the required settlement funds as per R76(1 )(b).
Documents provided to evidence relative in Canada do not satisfy me that relative is actually living in Canada;
however, even without points for relative, applicant still meets selection requirements. Selection eligibility -
Passed Admissibility: - - · - Criminality - Require police certificates
as listed below.
Medica Is- To be started. NEXT STEPS 1) Send letter to applicant requesting: UK certificate for
applicant Updated Schedule As New photos RPRF
2) Medicals to be started"

My transcripts (sent to WES for ECA) shows clearly that I only stayed for THREE months during my BSC (Hons) final semester. I was staying at my relative's and do not thus have any document showing Proof Of Residency, this invalidates me to even apply for UK PCC. I can clearly recall that PCC was required only when you lived in a country for 6 months and more, in my case it's only for THREE months. What do I do now?

But I am confused for one thing:

Why it is delayed for receiving MR/PCC request. :o :o

This report was generated 30 days before then why they are slow to send the request?

Confusing.. >:( >:(

Hello everyone!!! I've just received my MR today. Quite surprised since i didn't expect it so soon since i heard SGVO to be quite slow in processing. So I was expecting MR around mid March.
Now the thing is, I just recently given birth. And was just about to inform VO about it today, since I've just literally got my baby's passport today. But because of the MR, not sure how to proceed. Do i send out my baby's details to VO and wait for baby's MR and do MR all together? Or do I just do my MR first and submit baby's detail together with MR? Would appreciate your help and advise. THanks!!!

BTW, here's my timeline:
application received - Aug 13, 2014
PER : Dec 2014
AOR ; Jan 2015
MR: Feb 26, 2015
VO: SGVO

Congratulations!!!
+1.. for your good news.. :) :) :)

I am quite puzzled as well!!! According to my GCMS log this note was updated on 23 OCT '14. It shouldn't take 4 months to send PCC request!!!

I think, may be though you didn't send UK pcc reason they are verified from their background check to avoid asking your further UK PCC request only for 3 months duration in UK.

At this moment as we know that all Muslim countries are on radar for all kind of security check after recent threat from Muslim terrorist in Canada.

These are the main reason from Bangladeshi applicant....

if u want to re-new ur MRP u need to fill up the forms associated with this link.

http://dip.portal.gov.bd/sites/default/files/files/dip.portal.gov.bd/page/7d0e4b38_9120_4716_8cb2_b6d4d034c5ff/Re-issue%20form%20(3).pdf

another thing for MRP its not re-new its re-issue. normal re-issue fee BDT 3450 including VAT and urgent re-issue fee BDT 6900 including VAT. u just need to do a CSE to SGVO with scan copy of ur new passport.

Thank you so much.

Hi Leha2014,

GCMS stands for "Global Case Management System". You can find a sample GCMS file here. And it is Citizenship and Immigration Canada's ( CIC's ) single, integrated and worldwide system used internally to process applications for citizenship and immigration services. If you searched in google you will also find a sample file.

Wondering whether i would go for another GCMS or not...It's been 35 Days since CHC official visited my office for verification..Surprisingly that visit occurred the very next day after I got my 1st GCMS note on 24th January 2015...Wanted to try my luck with another GCMS and see what SGVO does after I get it :-\
