Sorry to hear that.

If I were you, I would do the following:

- Ensure that I include the latest forms (if any) that may have been updated for FSW.
- Print the forms fresh and mention the latest date of re-submission.
- Ensure PCCs are valid.
- Ensure DD is valid (if applicable).
- Ensure Bank statements are latest (if applicable).
- Mention the UCI# in newly printed Generic Schedule 3 form (if mentioned on the returned application).

In my opinion you should not resubmit the forms with the old dates as they have been 'rejected' by CIC and this would be treated as 're-application' and not updating your application package with a missing document (copy of degree certificate).

You may ask your rep to scan and send you your old documents for reference purpose before you fill in the application forms again (as they would require revising the date of submission).

You just need to be careful and sincere this time, and since you have most of the documents already, refilling the forms won't be a pain.
Do an application returned due to cap gets a uci number ??

Dear nishesh3003,

Hope you're well.

I just realized that on the SCHEDULE A – BACKGROUND/DECLARATION (IMM 5669) of my spouse, on Question 12: ''ADRESSES'', I wrote down thw wrong date on one of her former addresses.

Instead of ... ''From 2009-01 to 2014-07'' I wrote ''From 2009-01 to 2008-07''.

Will this be consider a minor issue?

Please advice.

Thank you.

Well - CIC will not assume the dates for you so this will be the VO's call. Background details (although not verified for all the applicants) are essential details and CIC expects them to be accurate and complete. If your NOC is not hot - I would suggest you send a revised form with a cover letter.

Hello Nishesh3003,

Thank you for the advice. Actually, my NOC is 0911 (Manufacturing Manager). Do you have any advice on what should I write on top of the package in order to improve the chances that CIC matches the application received in August with this package including the updated form?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks again.

Hi All,

I have question, I am a 3rd year PhD student in Quebec and I have total scholarship of worth CAD 30k per year.
I am applying under the PHD Category. DO I need to provide the evidence of settlement funds?

I read people who are already in Canada don't need to show the Settlement funds?

I appreciate your reply.
To be in a safe side It Is better to show the Settlement fund. Only those with arranged job offers or currently work in Canada are exepmted from this condition. Being a PhD student does not mean you have a job.

Thank bro. But what I am talking about is the generic application form IMM0008 not Schedule 3. Would that be ok? Thanks.

NO. That will not be a reason for rejection.

In my opinion - CIC will ask you to resend an updated Schedule 3 post AOR.

Insufficient work experience in my understanding implies that either the VO was not satisfied with your duties on the ref. letter and the corresponding NOC that was chosen, either because the duties itself did not match or the match was not comprehensive enough.

What was your NOC ?

Can you share your duties in the forum for us to analyze ?

Assuming you do not have a UCI number from the past -

- Mention the date and time of your initial application receipt by CIC.
- Mention your full name as per passport and passport number
- Mention your NOC Code
- Mention "Additional Documents" on TOP of the envelope

These are the few pointers I can provide you with.

Hi Nishesh,

Thanks a lot for positive response. I also have the same situation as crewbunk. I signed my application in early June but it was sent to my Lawyer in Canada first and then might have got delivered in Late June or may be even in July start.

My question is which date does CIO treats as application date. Is it the date on which Forms were signed (in my case it was early June) OR the date on which package was delivered at CIO?

Would you suggest us to send us to fill in the updated forms and send it to CIO with cover letter? But I dont have any UCI# or any reference number.

Hello nishesh3003,

Need some advice please. Today I sent to CIC two updated forms correcting some info; probably will arrive the day after tomorrow. My original application arrived on August 22.

My question is, should I write CIC about this second package in order to increase the chances of CIC matching the applications? In case you think is convenient, what email should I write to?

Please advice.

Thank you.
