FSW 2014 Reject reasons

I do not have birth certificate for myself and my wife and our matriculation marksheet does not carry the name of our parents. After trying my best to get birth certificates made and failing at it, I finally decided to send a cover letter explaining the deficiency in documents, I provided two affidavit by me and my parents and by my wife and her parents along with matriculation certificate.

Has anyone else seen such cases being accepted by CIC?

Some rejection reason in 2014:

Visit the CIC website and review their FSW Segment in detail.

Can you please clarify whether your application was actually returned back by CIC or are you trying to send 'updated' documents ?

if you are writing a cover letter what reason you are giving explaining why you are not able to provide. Not exactly this scenario but one of my friend had an issue therefore he made the government authority provide a letter why they are not able to provide the requested document.

Make sure you provide a solid, genuine and reasonable explanation because BIRTH certificate is a major document because you will be claiming points for your age. And Self attested affadavits does not hold much value or importance.

can you get yourself a letter from the Gazzetted office or GRADE 1 office confirming your date of birth as on your 10th certificate.

The reason is simple. I was born at my grandparent's home and now I now since they have passed and the house is also no longer there, I cannot produce the documents to get a birth certificate after so many years. I inquired from the municipal committee and the documents that they require cannot be made available now. I also checked with one of my friend who moved to Canada under FSW 2013. He also followed the same procedure of providing an affidavit alongwith matriculation certificate. I have my fingers crossed and I hope to get lucky.

Hello everybody,
Please help me ASAP,

Today I just got a letter from CIO that they returned my application as federal skilled worker because I hadn't send my original foreign educational certificate accompany with my WES report (I had just sent the WES report) .
Now I need to know how I should reapply?
1) Should I just prepare a reference letter together with my educational translations and resend them without any change in other application forms?
2) If I have to update or change any application forms, what should I renew?
3) What about my Police certificate/job letter/financial report of bank? Should I renew them? Because at least they have 2 months for validity. Sad Huh

I am really confused and I cant think clearly.
Please Clearly tell me the answer to the followings
1) As far as I understood, I dont need to change job reference letter or bank report or even police certificate, is that true?
2) As far as I understood, I dont need to print any new pages and sign them again because of dates, Is that true?
3) I understood just I have to resend the old application together with their letter and the missing document back to CIO, is that true?

Guys I do really need your help at the moment

I am currently employed in Saudi Arabia on a work visa. The reference letter that I submitted with my application is on the Saudi employer's letter head. It states my period of employment, salary and main duties. However, it neither mention my working hours nor the word 'Full time'. Will it become a cause of rejection?

(Although it is applicable worldwide that one can not work part time in another country on a work visa. A person who is issued work visa is supposed to be working full time).

I am scared because it is written in the previous posts that not mentioning working hours could become a cause of rejection. However, can i just pin my hope on my worker status in the foreign country and expect CIC to be accommodating in this case?

Send additional documents in a seperate package explaining to CIC that it was ommitted from my previous application by mistake .Do you think that will work?

Option 2 is the only possible solution atm. Make it asap, dont forget to mention your name, DOB, Passport number, NOC, UCI (if you have one). Many applicants did it and got PER..

You can ask your employer (politely) to write the working hours in a week. CIC does want an evidence that you are working full time. If the employer doesn't write it in the letter, then try to provide additional evidence like contract, joining letter, salary slip or any other document that states that you are a full time employee. In addition to this, I would also recommend writing a cover letter explaining the entire situation. Hope this helps. Good luck.
