Hi Guys,

I got mail from CIC that my file is returned back because of capping reached.

NOC 2173, app date 4th sept is returned back on 17th Nov because capping reached.

So August applicants has clearer view this time. I hope to see more movement for 2173 this week and be able to see if my DD was encashed as well in the bank.

My application reached CIC on 16th oct for 2173 NOC.
Since cap is reached, When can i expect my application return from CIC.

Seniors please advice
As I submitted my application on 22nd October, for NOC 2132 visa office –LONDON
According to Spread sheet, on average PER from CIC is coming in 45 days, firstly is it true. Sad
If yes, could it be possible for me to get PER by 5th December. Roll Eyes
Counting from 22nd –October – 2014 to 5th December -2014 [45 days]

Guys based on the info so far available :
I can conclude that in the 2173 cap was reached in the middle of Sept 4th. From my review of the forum now ( check the page of Sept applicants) I found two cases that support my conclusion :
1) one applicant got to the CIO on Sept 4th and he received an e-mail that his application was found incomplete --> this means he undergone c-check and he is within the 1000 cap but found incomplete
2) another applicant who arrived same day Sept 4th got an e-mail saying that his application is out of cap !!

this means that half of 2173 Sept 4th applicant were in and the other were out ..... Sept 4th is the edge for 2173 guys ?!

Oh my God if this is true !

Might be ,but if 4-Sep is the cut date then should they return the 4-sep applications right away as there may be the applications that might be rejected during charging or eligibility review process.

One concept that a lot seem to be missing it is that the "cap" means 1000 "Complete Applications"..... not 1000 "Eligible Applications"
So, yes, once they reach 1000 complete applications, they will return the remaining regardless the fact that some application may be rejected in the eligibility review process. what supports my view is their immigration guide

My application reached CIC on 21st Nov , how about my chance ? ( under NOC 2172). By seeing the trends of other NOC's , am bit worried.
