another strange and good news for all of you... ;D

This might be an indication that CIC may have counted more applications from July and August for 2174.

Same may go for other Hot NOCs. They may be counted a month more than we are estimating.

m new to this forum. I sent my application on oct 16, 2014 and was delivered on oct28, 2014 by courier, today I saw the cap is reached 1000.... can someone tell me m i under the cap or where exactly my application might be????????

Last ChargedAug 28th- nov 9th - 553
Last charged sept 2- nov 20- but nov 22- 1000-447 apps so frm 28th till 2nd like in 3days + till nov 22=5days cud they have charged r completeness check n 447apps in 5days is unimaginable

How, i really feel bad for For those waiting for PER, I believe that may be CIC is will send PER to most of you.

My Question is that: I had applied under NOC 2132 LONDON office on request.
When i submitted my file the cap was only 376 then after 17 days the caps went to 536 and latest to 596

Will i get PER or i am also out of game

Its very difficult to explain CIC process .. If you see NOC 2173.. It capped overnight from 400 odd to 699 and then 1000.

Heres my take on 2171...my brother in laws app reached 10th of Oct...however I dont think they really update the high demand NOC s via completeness check. The reason I feel that way is it would be impossible for them to process 447 apps just for 2171 in such a short period. What I do think is happening is that they may do completeness check till about 700 and if they see that they still have another 500 apps for 2171, they will just cap the NOC. There is no chance that they will not get 300 valid apps from 500 yet to be opened. That is the reason that they keep charging long after cap is complete...this gives me hope and I hope this is true...

I guess the problem with the forum is that we are taking it as agiven that completeness check = add to cap. While it may be true in 90% of the processing, it is perfectly poosible that CiC abandons the process when they see more then enough apps for one NOC..eg 2174, 2171 etc. They just update the cap to 1000 so that people do not have to go through the process with no chance of succeeding...and more importantly they (cic) dont have to go through the apps return process. Repeating myself, if cic see 500 apps lying with them where as they have completed the check on 700...what is the point of spending another month on checking 300 more+ return 200+ return another 200 that may have come. Rather why not just cap it early? It is changing the process but using logic to save work. DONT ASSUME CIC WILL FOLLOW PROCESSES ALL THE TIME! Only this would explain caps been updated by hundreds of apps in a week or even a day!
Would love to hear any counter argument.....
