hi puna, agree I sound pessimistic and would be the happiest person if September apps are included . However I was ononly going by the facts reflected by spreadsheet
2173 - no charging after cap was reporated
1112-no charging after cap was reported
only 2174 charging continued even after the cap was announced . ...
hence my worry ..but we can only analyse and speculate and being pessimistic is way better thathan hoping and getting disappointed later .
The scenario with 2173 was also same.. 300 apps in few days and now see, no charging has happened after perhaps 13th of Aug apps..
having said that really hoping and praying for the best...

Hi i'm 2171 4th Sep too, CC charge and waiting...
The last 2171 charged was CC 2nd Sep !

Krishna just relax, on nov 9th 553 for 2171 was announced n this is only completeness check till aug end, 447 apps is the comp check again as on 22nd Nov, which includes sept n pron 1st week of oct, the logic is first comp check n then charging, they cannot charge directly with out completeness check, 2174 was charged till end of july even though it was capped I think early july, I think its illogical if u say that cic charged 447 apps in 13days-2days=11days both cc n dd while last cc is charged for 7th r 8th sept n dd for 5th august. Guys stay alive (sept is in n 1st r 2nd week of oct as well)

Still rules are not out

I sent my application on NOC 2173 which was received by CIC on 25th SEP.

According to current statistics I am out, but when I can get some email saying you were not in CAP and can expect your application back.

I am Sep 4th 2173, and my application got returned days before, it may take months to be mailed back.

it's sad for me, but it may be a good news for other 2173 applicants, as it seems Sep 2173 may still have chances

Dear Sir/Madam:



Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 17 Nov 2014. It was deemed incomplete. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.



The documents were also returned to you on 18 Nov 2014.



We do not keep detailed records of each application returned so I am unable to provide more case specific details.



Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service. Applications are not sent via courier.

Now for me :

For the seniors and expert guys here,

My NOC 2173 application was received by CIO on August 28, the receiver person signed as " M K". My payment method is Money Order.
Based on the above, what are the chances that my application passed the completeness check ? knowing that I did not receive anything so far from them. Neither a PER nor an e-mail saying that my application was returned for some reason.

As the above member was a Sept 4th applicant was checked, does this mean that I, as an August 28 applicant, got checked for sure ?
As the above member got a "return application" e-mail notification (at maximum today Nov 21, if not before ) stating that his application was returned on Nov 17 stating , while I did not receive such, does this mean that I passes the completeness check ?

I think we are not out of the game until we get documents back or reply from CIC that your document was not in cap. Or someone else gets the cap filled mail who sent application before you.

Everybody here is just guessing depending on statistics and timing from spreadsheet. The problem is with more waiting we start to think more and guess strange things.

Only thing who can confirm you are out is CIC and nobody else.

But we can just guess at the moment.

Are July 16, for NOC 2174 chances exists.

I called to CIC Call Center..

They have given my
UCI Number which starts with 9239-XXXX
Status: In-Process
Application Picked Date : 06-NOV-2014

When I am calling before 2 days, Call Center Agents are not telling me status.
