Hi sunoarun,

In case, we do not get any update from CIC by this month end can we go ahead and apply for Express Entry ? Or will it create any fuzz.

Any Idea ?

../MapleWay

MapleWay I will wait until I get any confirmation from CIC - either acceptance or rejection - before I jump into Express entry.

Hi... anybody has any idea of what does the ECAS status shows once the PER is received? Mine is showing "IN PROCESS" and on further clicking on it, it shows "We have received your application for PR on XYZ date". Although I have not got any PER mail yet.

Does anyone has any idea what the ECAS shows after you receive the PER?

Thanks.

This is correct, you should receive your PER within 2 weeks. It will change to "started processing" 10-15 before you receive Medical Request.

Is there any 2132 applicant waiting for PER ?
My app received date 13th august and cc charge 16th august.
Nothing after that.

Dear bro,
I am also from same NOC and app date 15th August received PER on 04th december. CIC has their own way of working, it all depends on each application and how complex it is. Your CC charged means you are well within the requirements of your documents needed for complete application. So keep faith that you will receive PER very soon. Some members have received PER 30-35 days after CC charge date.
Wish god will give all the things needed to fulfill our dreams. I think you will get as a surprise gift for christmas as PER. All the best dude.

Hi WishingCanada,

We are almost close. BTW, what about your CC/DD enchashment status. In the below link you check the No Of applications pending with MI against each NOC. Please, check the 4th column in the table.

Hi mapleway, thanks for the link. I dont know yet the status of my dd as the last time I asked, no confirmation yet. By the way, what does MI means?

Hi Mail4abid,

Yeah, mine is Aug 8th App for NOC 2173. No news yet

1. No Reply to status Query mail (19 Nov)
2. No DD enchashment.
3. No Cap filled mail.
4. No NER and
5. No PER.

REALLY FRUSTRATING.

Just now I had seen below in the forum that 18th Aug had got a CAP filled mail. My only hope is with 16 applications that are with MI, as mentioned in CIC website.

../MapleWay.

Another day gone no news! This wait is just killing me!!! May Allah bless us all & relive us from this torture with a good news!

Hi All,

Still a long run, but just curious to know!!!
Once the Visa is stamped on the passport, what is the validity for one to land in Canada from the date of visa issued ???
I mean how immediate one has to travel after the visa is issued.

Hi,

The validity of the Visa issued will start 1year from the date the medicals have been received by CIC.

For example, you have done your medicals and the clinic has submitted them to you VO. That date in which you VO received your medicals (lets say January 10, 2015).. Your 1 year Visa validity will expire on January 10, 2016.

Within these dates, you should land in Canada. Actually, the Visa validity is also indicated in your Visa stamped on passport.

If you haven't land beyond January 10, 2016. your Visa will be void. No extension is granted for whatever reason.

Hope this helps

Hi everyone,

I have sent my initial application on 27th August and based on that received PER on DEC 14. As I left out some docs while sending the initial application , I have resubmitted another complete new application later on, October 6th with a cover letter mentioning the reason for second submission. I just came to know they charged CC for second application as well.
What should I do now ????? Plz advise.

Hi All,

My application was received on August 22nd by CIC and credit card was charged on November 11th, but I haven't received the PER mail. Can someone please suggest what should I do next in this regard. I applied under NOC code - 2171.

I am finding that lots of applicants who applied after me have received the PER communication in this regard.

Is there a way I can do the follow-up to get response.

Regards
Gurjeet
