1. Is the translation by a Notory public be valid? - No you should get it done from a translator.

2. Is the Affidavit of translation done by the same notary public will be valid? -- Translator has to give an affidavit

3. Do I need the true copy of the original document i.e. of native language or the translated document? -- you have to send original translation along with the notarized copy of original document

Do refer to application guide in case of doubt:

I don't know why I am getting intuition that FSW 2014 will get over by December 2014 only... They have said that they will accept 25000 application but they wont be getting more than 5000 applications.. There will be one's and two's for very cold NOC's.. Hot NOC's such as 2174,2171 etc will get processed by December... Processed means by CIC not VO... VO may take there own time..
I think they already have about 10000 applications at CIO. If you look at global spreadsheet it has 1400 applicants and it is about 16% of total applicants. If we go by the PER issued as on 14/07/14 and inter-prate it with spreadsheet, Hot NOCs like 2174 and 1112 have already reached the CAP and 2132 and 2173 are following.

Re: Slow CIC.......

Dear All
If 8th May application is rejected due to any reason then when can I expect my packet Return .Any idea ?
Thanks

HI everyone,

I have one question:

If I have worked in company X and the supervisor of the company X (under whom I worked) is no more working with that company, but the new supervisor for the same department of company X (under whose supervision I have not worked) is ready to give me reference letter. Is it ok to get a reference letter from a supervisor with whom I have not worked but he/she is heading the same department and can verify my stay with the company if called by the CIC or is it better to get the reference letter from HR of the company?

So long as as your Ref. Letter says:

-- Fully time
-- min 30 hrs per week
-- your salary
-- duties macth 70-80%

It doesn't matter even if you are operating from Goa beaches and your CEO is in Florida beaches :) :P

Dear Seniors,

Can anyone please help me. I am working for a US registered company and they have given me 'work from home' option and hence I work from my home in India. I am employed by them and salary is paid to me.

Is my work experience acceptable to claim points? Since the company has no office in India, and no BGC can be performed here, will they reject my application in that case?

What all documents should I send? My CEO would be writing a reference letter for me and he is based in US.

Kindly help :-\ :-\

Always go with the current supervisor, does not matter whether s/he is new or old. ;D ;D

I do not agree with that 16% calculation... There are just few HOT NOC... Mainly in IT and Finance area..

For rest you can see the numbers below.... And these will remain like this by end of April 2015... Few NOC's may not even go to 10.. So, if CIC will get even 500000000 application for 2174 they will process only 1000.... So, just rest assured.. You can check the similar status for FSW2013... 300 per NOC and how many reached to CAP... :P :P
