Another Question not related to my case but for a friend who is not part of the forum but applying for Immigration:

A family is applying for immigration to Canada on FSW category. Their daughter (9 years) has a speech problem, very limited vocabulary (6/7 words) and her left hand doesn’t work. Otherwise she walks, is independent, goes to school etc. She suffers from these disabilities but doesn’t have a disease that can be transmitted to anyone, as stated on the immigration website as a condition to reject a person from entering the country. Will the child be cleared in the medical examinations for immigration? Or will she be held back because of her disability?

What are the chances immigration to this case will not be rejected?

I am a graduate with Physics, Maths and Stats.. So, simple math is OK but from where are you getting the stats.. Its not "Simple Sampling"..

I remembered one joke... One woman got Alladin's Jinn and she asked... Make her 10 times wiser... Jinn fainted.. After sometime woman asked why he is not fulfilling her wish...He said 10 times zero will remain zero...

So, the calculation you have mention implies that (as per forum).. no application has reached for few NOC's like below....

3234 Paramedical occupations –

I am sure that most of the IT people know about this forum..as they are the most exposed to internet... as compared to Nurses and Sonographers.. Hope you would agree to this.. :-* :-*

there seems to be a rush for only few of NOCs, but there is a dearth of applications for most of NOC codes from the list of 50 Eligible Occupations...

If we infer the latest update by CIC,
18 NOC codes still not received any application (zero count) :

so... if we consider these 8+3 NOCs to be filled in soon ( by end of August 2014).... that will b 11 x 1000 = 11000 applications received by CIC for 11 NOCs... 8)

and that leaves total of 25000 - 11000 = 14000 applications quota for remaining 39 NOCs of which 18 NOCs are yet to make a debut... ??? :-X :-\


so dont worry about the quota reaching to its maximum CAP before this year end.... it will definitely stretch itself till April 2015...

Simple mathematics 83 PERs in spreadsheet, 516 in total that is 16%.
If you go by NOC let take 2174
PER in spreadsheet 30, in total 130 so 23% -- apps in spreadsheet 243 so total apps 1053 till date.

Another NOC 1112
PER spreadsheet 15, total 120 so 12.5% -- apps in spreadsheet 131 so total apps 1048

I do not agree with that 16% calculation... There are just few HOT NOC... Mainly in IT and Finance area..

For rest you can see the numbers below.... And these will remain like this by end of April 2015... Few NOC's may not even go to 10.. So, if CIC will get even 500000000 application for 2174 they will process only 1000.... So, just rest assured.. You can check the similar status for FSW2013... 300 per NOC and how many reached to CAP...

Its not possible.. there's a change in the Process but Processor (VO's) remains the same :'(

Imagine Shatabdi Express v/s. Chennai Express .. but both are running on the same old track

Hi,

I checked article about express entry system. And its stated that they will process the applications with in 6 monthes. Is it possible that express entry candidates get PR even before 2014 FSW applicants.. or they will process these applicants first before jumping on to new applicants...

then tell me how to send the copies of the documents that does not require translation... experience letters, marriage, birth certificate etc...

Hi Godwilldo,

First you take the original document and put it in a photocopier, then you make a copy and put the copy in an envelope. When you have all your copies you arrange all forms, copies of documents and orginal IELTS, ECA and Police Clearance in the order of the Document Checklist and you send it to CIC in Nova Scotia, Canada.

That is called sampling... base on facts and figures.. not just multiplying the numbers...
There would be so many NOC's for which CAP will not start even or may limit to 5 or 10 by end of April 2014.. So, if you know anybody with very very cold NOC such as Nurse or Psychologists then ask them to apply... Offcourse CIC wants these Nurses (COLD) for us (HOT) only...
I am talking about HOT and COLD NOC...

I sent the application yesterday along with credit card details. Mine is an international credit card with HDFC bank with full limit of 3 lakhs on international as well as domestic transactions. I am now hearing some bullshit from customer care that OTP or secure pin would need to be entered while making transactions internationally too. Previously before sending the form I called the bank manager as well as customer care and they told me there would not any be one time password or pin verification kind of bullshit for online transactions abroad, but now I am hearing things differently from them.

I know incompetence is rampant in this country, be it customer care or anywhere so I can not trust any one of them. Has anyone faced this issue ? As far as I know any merchant can theoretically charge the card using card number/cvv.
