Hahaha. I got your point. But the reason I am preferring the new supervisor and not HR because HR will not give me such a detailed reference letter because of their own set rules and policies and therefore I cannot get it co-signed by the supervisor and HR department. It will reduce my hassle to go after HR every second day and ask for reference letter. The new supervisor will give me that in 5 minutes.

Get it co-signed, new supervisor and HR (preferably; otherwise any one will do) .

Responsibilities/duties of a position, usually doesn't change with a person, therefore even the new guy can sign it. Remember, its not ur performance (CGPA of 4.0 in ur case) but only ur duties (course outline).

Ok. That is great. For me it is a blessing. Reduced stress to go to HR.

Always go with the current supervisor, does not matter whether s/he is new or old. ;D ;D

I do not agree with that 16% calculation... There are just few HOT NOC... Mainly in IT and Finance area..

For rest you can see the numbers below.... And these will remain like this by end of April 2015... Few NOC's may not even go to 10.. So, if CIC will get even 500000000 application for 2174 they will process only 1000.... So, just rest assured.. You can check the similar status for FSW2013... 300 per NOC and how many reached to CAP...

Hi all,, I raised an issue of D.D get expired before encased,, today I checked with forex expert of the bank, He said the concept of 3 months validity is only for INDIA, My D.D is from J.P. Morgan and There wont be any issue of D.D expiry

Hey Buddy - are you sure about this? Because I am also worried about DD expiry since it's a 3 month DD. Thanks!

If you go by NOC lets take 2174

same here, but since we havent recieved any nomination yet, we can apply for FSW.
in case we get nomination after we apply for FSW, wait till 6 months after u get nomination. In this duration if you get PER then write a letter to province that you don't intend to settle in the province. if you don't recieve PER in 6 months, apply with nomination.

I think you can apply under NOC 1113, but nobody can judge better than you. Have you roles and responsibilities checked against your NOCs. here is the link.

The new supervisor is luckily a friend and female The institute I am talking about is LUMS. So I guess I am safe on my reference letter from her without taking her on iftar or sending a Cake on eid

So get it from new supervisor.

He will get call for confirmation or someone may actually visit the ofc. He can simply tell that she used to work here, although she has not worked under my supervision, but role/duties of her position are ................... Important thing is he shud b able to recall most of those. For this consider taking him our for Iftar or send Big Cake (with ur duties written on it) on Eid.

Moreover, HR shud at least be able to confirm ur duties (when contacted) at least at broader level.

Net net, the fact that it is being signed by "new" supervisor, will never be my concern (if i were at ur place) specially, if the organization X is top educational institute, a bank, or telco company as duties are pretty standard in such organizations.

I am a graduate with Physics, Maths and Stats.. So, simple math is OK but from where are you getting the stats.. Its not "Simple Sampling"..

I remembered one joke... One woman got Alladin's Jinn and she asked... Make her 10 times wiser... Jinn fainted.. After sometime woman asked why he is not fulfilling her wish...He said 10 times zero will remain zero...

So, the calculation you have mention implies that (as per forum).. no application has reached for few NOC's like below....
