Hiee kindly help me out seniors...

We have submitted our passport on March 2 for visa stamping. However tracker says it's still in processing.. now am worried because read few posts saying that once visa is issued the file will be closed and new born cannot be added and the file has to start from scratch. We are expecting our new born in 2 months. We have submitted pregnancy report along with passport as well.. Please advice what should we do now?

Vo : new Delhi

Should I inform visa office to hold stamping? Or in worst case if the stamping is done before I inform... can I sponsor my child after getting PR card...

If your PP has less than 1 year of validity remaining from the date of your medicals, your visa will have an earlier expiration date.

There is some CIC publication that I've seen that says you should have at least a year remaining, but people have reported stamping with less validity remaining.

At least 6 months validity is required.

That's very risky. You should consider flying to India or having somebody carry it to VFS with your written authorization.

can u share the date of your enquiry to enquiry search....
I too sent a mail for my application status on 13-jan but still waiting for the reply

I guess you should get your reply by tomorrow - I had sent the email on 12th Jan. They are pathetically slow in responding, or maybe we all are really flooding them with enquiry ;D

But if you are NOC 2171 applicant from 25-Sep onward, I think you should brace yourself for bad news. I haven't seen a single September person getting approval.

Please tell me the email id of cic. I have the same senario. Thanks

Their email ID is: CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry [at] cic . gc . ca
remove all spaces and replace with at symbol.

Be patient after sending the email, they took 58 days to reply to mine! My DD was about to expire in next 10 days, so I kind of knew that my application was not processed.

absolutely.. I think you should go ahead and ask LA-VO.

Hello everyone,

I hope some-one would be able to give their views about this. I had submitted my arranged employment documents along with Post graduate work permit and few days back I had received an email to submit 6 months transaction statements to show the settlement funds and having only 30 days for it. I have 2 questions here:

Does it mean settlement funds = whatever I have – credit card or it has nothing to do with the credit card expenses.

Moreover, since I came to know about this after receiving PER so I was not ready for it, if I make all the transactions now in one account from different sources within 15 days , will it going to effect the visa officer decision?

Visa Issued – Passport Received

Hey everybody,

I’m thrilled to say I went to SPVO today to pick up our passports with the beautiful Canadian Visa stamped on it.

I couldn’t be happier. I would like to thank everyone for your support, for all the knowledge I got from the immigration process and from Canada, and for all the encouraging words I got.

My timeline is on the left. I was extremely lucky to have such a fast process! 134 days / 4 months and 11 days from Application Received to Passport Back is just amazing!

But to me, the most impressive info is that my wife and I only decided we wanted to move away from Brazil on July 2014. We decided we wanted to go to Canada on August 1st, and we were lucky enough that everything turned out just perfect for us. In order:

- We discovered that Canada had an open immigration policy for a few classes of Immigrants;

- We discovered that there was a program open at the time called Federal Skilled Worker that was a match for us;

- We found out that my NOC was on that list – for the first time – and there were enough spots left;

- We could arrange for all documents just in time to apply; ECA, IELTS, TEF….

- CIO processed our applications in just 90 days until PER (even if it seemed an eternity!);

- We got the fastest MR on the book – only 15 days after PER (we weren’t expecting it yet!);

- We got our PPR very quickly after our exams – only 22 days after MR (but it looked like ages to us!);

As somebody said, I must have been born with a Silver Spoon on my mouth!

I wish you all the best of luck, the smoothest possible process and a great life in Canada!
