melkou, worried for my app now.

I should be more worried then. My app received on 5th Jul. But I feel we have a chance. 36 apps for last week and has covered till 28th june. Now July week starts from 2nd and only 4 days in that week (1st being a holiday). We still have 54 apps to go and am sure till 2nd week july there is a chance. Fingers crossed

I just got an email from CPP-O asking for the medical and police clearance (I have already sent the PCC a couple of days back, it's on its way). I need to submit the medical by 60 days.

Go ahead and live your life and make positive life choices. You only have 5 things that you will need to do....

1. Update your VO of your new address
2. IF you pass the 6 month mark....be prepared to send them a PCC for the European country where you now live.
3. Ensure that when your Visa is confirmed you take time off and go and "land" in Canada...complete the landing process and get relevant documents, start building credit history etc....all can be done in 2 weeks.
4. Find a secure address (maybe family/friend) where your PR card can be delivered to this address, and hopefully be delivered to you (not via mail)
5. Ensure that you return to Canada enough to maintain your PR status......and ultimately be able to apply for citizenship.

We are all in this together. Pl pray for us August and september applicants as the Cap of 2147 is about getting CAPPED!!!

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 4, 2013. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

The hope is still on but only 15 applications in the past week :'(
