how exactly background checks are done? I know they will verify our emp ref letters by calling or other means.
How about if I stayed in 2 or more countries for 6 months in the past 10 years will the VO contact every country to check on me ?

Is NO OBJECTION LETTER mandatory from spouse side, if u are partially using her funds to show POF???

You, being a primary applicant, have to show the total POF depending upon the number of immigrants under your application and establish that all that money lay at your quick disposal. I don't think solo accounts will work here because then you show financial dependency on your wife, whereas you are main applicant and wife, your dependent!
Being a primary applicant yourself, you will need a letter of No Objection from your wife if she be contributing in your POF. You can have joint account with wife and an NOC from her for your Canadian immigration requirements.

I am 31 May applicant.
My DD encashed on 13 Aug.
CIC delayed to provide my UCI due to the WES report.
Last week I got a mail from WES asking for another report for CIC along with a payment request.
I paid that accordingly and then WES send one additional copy to CIC on 10 Sep.
And then on 12 Sep I got reply from CIC.
I wish all the very best to everyone who hasn't got any reply from CIC.
Plz pray for me.

Hey Hi guys ... did any 2147 applicant receive confirmation that their file is transferred to Delhi visa office.

I see only ebshib , who has confirmation that his file is now transferred to delhi Visa office.

There is no update of the applicants whose application date is prior to ebshib.

From the books of Law, you need to show the other person's consent when you hire services! Although, CIC doesn't mention use of NOCs officially on their site but it said in a more generic statement that the funds must be liquid, unencumbered and at your disposal. Your wife's fund land at your disposal upon her consent; it may not be taken for granted. But then all at CIC's discretion.

If you ask any consultant, they would advise you the same way.

Best way is to have joint bank account with your spouse + NOC that she allows you using her money.

Thanks. Actually I showed 50% of the total amount from my wife's account. Now do I need to wait for LVO's reply or I should send the NO OBJECTION LETTER from my wife in advance?

Now that you have already passed the eligibility check, you don't have to worry about being sending it upfront. I think VO will ask if they feel the need to do so. Anyway, they'll be finally asking for an up to date POF at a later stage, then you can append one letter.

IT MEANS SELF ATTESTED JOB DUTIES ARE NOT VAILID AND NOT ELEGIBLE TO PROCESS.
IT SHOULD BE BY YOUR SUPERIOR OR HR DEPT.

you know my dear formites, I keep on thinking why some get their PERs and others are still waiting.
honestly no clear answer.
I don't want to spread negativity here, but why do some receive faster than others?
Moreover, I have noticed that applications received by MIKE are really slow in processing :'(

You have to include also timing, it means what time an app reached CIC. People whose apps reached in the early morning are charged faster and late afternoon apps are charged later. In addition there are different people, so different lines for apps. Dexter will finish his apps quicker and Mike will need more time... :
But if you look at a particular person, e.g. Mike - so you will see that he considers apps strictly according to a minute he is receiving them.

I am of opinion that if you have ref. letter from your employer in hand (other than self attested) all other things are with you. you send again nothing to loose. GOD knows if seat number 300th is waiting for you.
