From Passport Request to Visa

hi Marky. just got my passport back today. sent them on november 8 and detroit received it nov. 11. it was then mailed back to me last nov 23 and got it today. hope this helps....

thanks alainski..are u currently in Canada? how did you send yours? did you send it through expresspost canada to windsor? I'm just wondering what takes so long for my passport to be returned...sad

yes im in canada and i used xpresspost to windsor both ways. maybe yours is coming anytime....

Hey Guys! How's everyone.
I had a little problem. I already did my official landing last November 28,2011 and I tried to checked online my status after the last procedure, it didn't show up anything. I wonder if there is a technical problem.
Does anybody experienced some sort?

Thank you Kabayan. I went to Coutts,Alberta and nothing much was asked. They just asked me what is my status here in Canada. How long I have been working in Canada. No financial matters asked. Even in the US Boarder, nothing much. They asked me what is the purpose of going out of Canada(boarder) and I told them that I just have to do the Flagpole Procedure for permanent residency.

me too... i did my landing on th 26th of nov. when i check ecas i did not show anything....

Hello. Just want to share my timeline. Had our meds on the 8th of oct then another view of xray took on the 15th. Ecas status medical results have been received on the 18th of nov. Then on the 6th of dec, we received ppr via email. Dec 8, we sent our passports, photos, appendix a. Im praying now that visa may be issued not later than new year because our target date of departure is march.

the time frame varies it could mine was recommended within 15 days but not later than 30 days ....i hope that helps
