Hi everyone!

May few questions lang ako regarding IELTS and POF, sana may advice kayo...

1. I wasn't seriously thinking about my immigration plans until end of 2017 and now my IELTS results are expiring in June 2018. If I don't get an ITA (or is it based on APR submission?) by then, I should re-take it no?

2. Hindi sana ako nagmamadali para mapili sa pool kasi kelangan ko pa mag ipon for Proof of Funds pero just in case swertehin at mapaaga, ang gagawin ko sana is wag galawin ang salary (say, last 2-3 months) na pumapasok sa bank account ko para mabuo yung dineclare ko sa EE profile ko. Do you think CIC will find it questionable? Pag magsubmit ako ng 6-months bank statement, makikita naman nila yung pumapasok na salary consistently, ang difference lang is di ko sya winithdraw. haha.

Hello! Your IELTS will expire if you don't submit eAPR by the expiry date. I would recomend you to retake about 1-2 months earlier then create a new profile (withdraw existing one).
I don't think they would be that strict with the funds unless it is always (almost) zero'd out monthly or you could provide Letter of Explanation.

Good luck! :)

Hi guys,

I received my ITA in the last month and my application and supporting documents are ready for submission except the PCC from one city where I stayed merely 5 months back in 2010 - 11. I have secured the PCCs for all other placed where I stayed throughout my life, within my country and abroad. Following are the details:

1. From birth till 2007 (City A) – Received PCC

2. From 2007 to October 2010 (City B) – Received PCC

3. From Oct 2010 – Feb 2011 (City C) – Waiting for the PCC for this duration.

4. From March 2011 – January 2013 (City D) – Received PCC

5. From January 2013 – January 2015 (Overseas) – Received PCC

6. From February 2015 – present (City D) – Received PCC.

I am waiting for the PCC from “City C”, as mentioned above, for the last one month as someone else, on my behalf, is following up the process. Not sure when I would be able to get it. This is a remote city in my country and travelling there cost me time, which I can’t afford at present. I wonder if it would be a problem submitting the application without my PCC from “City C” mention above. Please help.

Cheers!

So.. you have NOT submitted anything at this point? For the basic requirements, PCCs are only required for places you've stayed for at least 6 months total, so that city C shouldn't count. Unless you've actually received instructions from IRCC to submit them (which is possible).

Would've been better if you sent the diploma (copy) for both, you'll only be evaluated on what you provided. Depends also on what info/papers your school sent to them. Well just keep on monitoring, they will contact you if there are any problems.

@arthurmr Thanks heaps for your reply. I have provided the information regarding the places I stayed in the past through 'Schedule A' form. It makes a lot of sense to me that I may not require PCC for City C as I have stayed there for less than 6 months, but at the same time, I wonder how should I cover my time of "City C"? Should I get another PCC from City B, covering the duration of City C as well? Would it work? or suggest me otherwise, please.
Thanks once again for your valuable information.

Generally depends on the country. For example, the PCC from PH is just the NBI clearance, we don't have per-city clearance. Regardless if you stayed x years in Cebu then y years in Manila, you'll only have 1 PH PCC doc for that. Same thing for the US, they only have the FBI clearance (aka identity history summary checks) regardless of which city/state you stayed.

Try checking the IRCC website section for that, they have a good summary of PCC processes per country.

If a single PCC for City B and C will suffice and if the document has specific dates on it, best to have it revised to cover stay in both cities.

Hi, I'm just curious, have you and your husband tried applying directly to just the express entry? How's your CRS? Usually couple applications have a good chance of not needing PNP anymore.
