In line with your query, I have a question too: do caregivers need licensure there? Is it a regulated line of work (most health care related jobs are regulated kasi so I want to clarify)?

Not sure, but I am FSW and I used "SW1" in the PDOS drop-down choices for the question "What is your visa type/category/classification?" --- I think they will correct it once you are there at the actual registration window in the CFO building before your PDOS. Good luck and congrats @ewa2t !

I'm creating EE profile but I can't proceed because of the town of study. The system doesnt accept letter "ñ". My town of study is Los Baños. Pwede kaya na palitan ko yung letter ñ ng letter n? Magiging Los Banos. Magkaka-issue po kaya yun?

I think normal N should be fine since the system itself validates allowable values.

Should be the one in your COPR doc. Regardless of the category though, all Canada-bound immigrants take the same seminar.

I've been looking around too, seems to vary depending on the actual job description. A common basic requirement I saw is first aid certification. Might differ per province, try checking out postings at indeed.ca.

Sirs,

I need your advice. We already have our ECA reports from WES, however, the results shows "Completion of secondary school education and Community College Diploma (2 years)."

Now, upon searching for options to increase our CRS points, i found out that IQAS comparison to a 4 Years Bachelor's Degree is "Generally compares to the completion of a three-year Bachelor’s degree." (https://www.alberta.ca/iqas-education-guide-philippines.aspx)

Based on the statements in this forum, there are those who received IQAS ECA reports with 4-Year Bachelor's Degree equivalent to 3-Year Bachelor's Degree.

Should I go for it?

I think hindi po since you will be providing supporting documents. Magkakaproblema lang siguro yan kung iba ang middle initial mo sa middle name mo.

My diploma has middle initial too.

Always make sure na yung information mo sa profile matches your passport. Given name lang sa passport yung ilagay mo, di kasama middle name.

Hindi naman siguro magkakaproblema ang middle initial sa diploma. Nung nagpasa ako ng eAPR ko, sinama ko nalang din sa letter of explanation na isang tao lang yung name na XX XX X. XX sa buong middle name saka walang initial/middle name. Kasi sa employment reference letters yung iba buong pangalan, initial lang or name mismo ot walang middle name.
