Hi po. Ask ko lang po how long will it take to get PPR if i'm on the IP2 stage? will it take longer than 1 month?

Also, may hotline po ba yung Manila VO for application status queries?

I wanted to know po kasi if it's safe to resign from work if I'm on the IP2 stage.

Guys, if there is anyone with the same case that submitted ADR and was in IP1, can you please share your timeline... When did your status change to NA?

Hi slyap,

What's your timeline? Mine is in my signature below. Per the discussions on the FSW-O April-May AOR thread that I am following, there are lucky souls that jump from IP2 to PPR as early as 1 day, but that's rare.

I'm not sure if this will help with your second query: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/contact-contactez.aspx?lang=eng

Good luck to us!

Please note that we do not require any information from you at the present time. You will be receiving instructions shortly. Regrettably, we are unable to provide you with a timeframe, but rest assured we are doing what we can to process your application in a timely fashion. "

Hopefully, I'll get PPR today

Yes, that's how they answer application status queries because they don't. That's why people order GCMS notes to know precise details like VO, but since you're at IP2, you don't need it. :)

Longest time I've seen between IP2 to PPR at MVO on this thread is 2 months. Most of the time, it's less than 7 days.

Hey, good for you! I still haven't gotten PPR and their reply to me on the request for VO was very generic, nothing stated about update.

Hi, mga kababayan! How long does it take for VFS Manila to return your passport with visa and COPR after you submit? I need to know because I have another tourist visa application on hold until after I submit to VFS Manila for Canada PR. Thanks!

Yes. One copy will be submitted to the CBSA officer, the other copy is yours to keep and you must not lose it because you will need that when you apply for citizenship.

Two weeks average. You can apply for COA/CIIP now and then apply for PDOS after you receive your COPR.

Hi again,

If I have dependents, will they get their own sets of COPR or are we all sharing just the one? Thanks again!

They'll get their own COPR.
Tip: you also have to print out a copy of the PPR letter for each dependent when you submit to VFS.
Super advice! Much appreciated!
